In case you missed it, yesterday, March 22nd 2010 was World Water Day. The international observance of World Water Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro.
The focus of World Water Day is preserving the earth's water quality and controlling pollution. Even though the issues of water quality and quantity are critical to satisfying human and environmental needs they have received little support or public attention.
Clean water is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Even municipal sources provided by your water utility company have contaminants that effect the smell and taste of your tap water.
Let's work together for cleaner drinking water and a healthier world.
